Prospective Wolverines...

Thinking about applying to Michigan Law? Already admitted and just want to know more?

Either way, thanks for checking out the Michigan Black Law Students Association! BLSA works to create a supportive community for our self-identified black students and others concerned with equality and justice. BLSA supports and sponsors a number of social activities. BLSA provides incoming students with an individually selected mentor, an academic boot camp to get strategic advice on how to prepare for classes, a professor-specific panel to learn how to excel on exams, and other academic supports.

In the spring, please consider coming to one of the Admitted Students Preview Weekends! During the preview weekends you will be matched with a current BLSA member to help you navigate the weekend. Once you experience Ann Arbor, we're confident you'll discover Michigan is the ideal place to spend your next three years.

To learn more about the BLSA community at Michigan, the law school, or Ann Arbor in general, please feel free to contact our board members at mblsa-leaders@umich.edu, or contact our Admissions Chairs directly at drewharp@umich.edu (Drew Harper) or eadankah@umich.edu (Ewurama Appiagyei-Dankah). In your email please include your interests/a lil blurb about yourself, so we can pair you with someone who can best answer your questions.

Looking to forward to speaking with you!
