Prospective Wolverines...

Thinking about applying to Michigan Law? Already admitted and just want to know more?

Either way, thanks for checking out the Michigan Black Law Students Association! BLSA works to create a supportive community for our self-identified black students and others concerned with equality and justice. BLSA provides incoming students with an individually selected mentor, an academic boot camp to get strategic advice on how to prepare for classes, a professor-specific panel to learn how to excel on exams, and other academic supports.

BLSA supports and sponsors a number of social activities including a Culture Show act, a 1L retreat, a holiday party, and much more. Throughout the law school community, BLSA is also known for its biannual Soul Food Lunch, where students and faculty come together to cook and serve some of our favorite recipes.

In the spring, please consider coming to one of the Admitted Students Preview Weekends! Once you experience Ann Arbor, we're confident you'll discover Michigan is the ideal place to spend your next three years. For information on Preview Weekend travel stipends, please contact our Admissions Outreach Co-Chairs, Christa Gaye-Kerr and Kara Crutcher, at cgkerr@umich.edu and kcrutch@umich.edu.
